Anthony Edwards Shuts Down Question About Jamal Murray With Blunt Response

Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves dominated in the first two games of their second-round playoff series against the reigning-champion Denver Nuggets.

The Timberwolves came into Ball Arena and claimed a 2-0 lead in deciding fashion. Now, they'll head back to Minnesota for Game 3 on Friday night.

Edwards is one of the brightest young stars in the league. And during a recent media appearance, a reporter asked Ant what it was like to go up against some of the league's "OGs" in Denver.

The reporter specifically referenced Jamal Murray.

"It's gotta be fun to see all these OGs... Jamal [Murray's] been around for a minute, is that a guy you've been tracking?" the reporter asked.

"Hell naw. What is he 27? I'm finna turn 23, dog. [Kevin Durant] is 36 or 35," Edwards replied.

"Come on, man," he continued. "It's no disrespect to Jamal. I don't know what you're trying to start."

Edwards has severely outplayed Murray so far this series. The Timberwolves guard is averaging 35.0 points per game. Murray is averaging just 12.5.

Edwards will look to continue his dominance in Game 3 on Friday night.
