On Saturday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves shocked the country and defeated the reigning champion Denver Nuggets in Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs Western Conference Semifinals with a final score of 106-99.

Anthony Edwards was the talk of the NBA for his performance, scoring 43 points on 17 of 29 shooting to go along with seven rebounds and three assists.

During the third quarter, Edwards was called for a very questionable technical foul after he stared down Reggie Jackson following a layup. No words were spoken by Edwards towards Jackson.

Both the fans and the commentators did not agree with the call, but the NBA has corrected the referee's mistake.

On Sunday, the NBA announced that they were rescinding the technical foul on Edwards. NBA reporter Dave McMenamin posted the news onto social media.

Although the technical foul didn't matter in the end, this was still a great move by Adam Silver and the NBA.
