Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch suffered a knee injury in a collision on the sideline during Game 4 of his team’s Western Conference first-round playoff series against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night.

Mike Conley had the ball for the Timberwolves and was dribbling down the court late in the fourth quarter. He was being defended by Devin Booker near the sideline and ended up running into Finch.

Finch went down and immediately grabbed his right knee. Timberwolves players huddled around Finch, who began receiving some medical attention.

The coach ended up being helped off the court with 1:41 left and his team leading 117-113.

The Timberwolves later said that Finch had suffered a torn patellar tendon due to the collision.

The Timberwolves won the game 122-116 to sweep the series. Now they’ll have to wait to see about the health of their coach ahead of their conference semifinals series.
