Giannis Antetokoumpo’s brother Thanasis is facing a lengthy absence after suffering an injury recently.

Thanasis Antetokounmpo has suffered a torn Achilles’ tendon and will undergo surgery.

That’s tough news for Antetokounmpo as Achilles’ tendon injuries are tricky and involve lengthy recovery times.

The 31-year-old Thanasis has been with the Bucks for the last five seasons. He saw action in 34 games last season and 37 games the year before that.
