Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley has been known as somewhat of a hot head since breaking into the NBA with the Houston Rockets back in 2012-13.

He’s gotten into it with multiple players around the Association. Some chalk it up to Beverley’s competitive mindset.

But we saw something a little more play out as Milwaukee was losing Game 6 of their first-round NBA Playoff series to the Indiana Pacers last week .

Beverley was seen throwng basketball at multiple fans during altercations in a game that sent Milwaukee packing for the spring.

This certainly was not a great look. It now seems that the Indianapolis Police Department took note. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, authorities are investigating the incident in question.

“Indianapolis Police is investigating the incident between Patrick Beverley and a fan during Game 6 of Bucks-Pacers series; detectives confirm,” Charania report on the Patrick Beverley situation . “They are working with Gainbridge Fieldhouse to review video footage and plan to speak with the parties involved.”

For his part, Beverley did take to social media after his Bucks were eliminated proclaiming the criticism to be unfair.

Apparently, this came after fans were chanting “Cancun on 3,” a clear shot at Milwaukee’s pending playoff elimination.

As for Beverley, this is not the only incident that defined that night. He got into it with longtime ESPN producer Malinda Adams when she attempted to ask the veteran a question in a locker room media scrum. He asked if she subscribed to his podcast. When Adams responded in the negative, Beverley said, “You can’t interview me then. No disrspect.”

This caught the attention of the NBA. It is investigating each of these incidents from a week ago this past Tuesday.

You can be the judge about whether this is all being overblown.
