MLB umpires confiscated the glove of Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Thyago Vieira during Wednesday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays, raising more controversy during an eventful series.

Despite Vieira having used the glove the night before, umpires took his glove and made him swap for a bright yellow glove during the ninth inning of Milwaukee's 7-1 win at home. This is likely due to the color configuration of the webbing.

It's unlikely Vieira was using a foreign substance in the glove because he wasn't ejected from the game. Instead, the umpires made him simply swap the glove out for a new one.

As said on the broadcast, the umpires likely made Vieira swap gloves after a possible complaint from the Rays the night before.

Vieira's glove has an off-white webbing color, which blends in well with the Brewers home jerseys. But because he wasn't forced to swap it the night prior, it's fair to think the Rays filed a complaint in case he came into the game again.

It's been an eventful week for the Brewers and the umpires, especially after benches cleared and punches were thrown during Tuesday night's game.
