MPD investigating motorcycle driver seen ‘baiting’ officers into a pursuit

MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – The Midland Police Department and Crime Stoppers are seeking information regarding a motorcycle driver who, Crime Stoppers said, has been putting himself as well as all of the drivers and pedestrians in his path in danger.

In April, the driver was seen by MPD multiple times in the area of Midkiff and Wall Street, as well as in neighborhoods northwest of the area, speeding and driving recklessly.

Crime Stoppers also said the driver usually “baits” the officers into a vehicle pursuit and could potentially cause an accident that injures innocent people.

The driver was driving a white sports motorcycle, wearing dark clothing, white boots, and a white helmet.
