A 62-year-old Methuen woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash over the weekend, and police are asking the public for any information they may have on the incident.

A passerby found the woman lying in the roadway just after 8:30 p.m. near 471 Lowell St. on Sunday, April 28.

The arriving officer performed life-saving measures along with paramedics who arrived on scene, but doctors pronounced the woman dead when she arrived at Lawrence General Hospital.

Police did not release the woman's name.

Security cameras of the area show a speeding Harley Davidson motorcycle crash into the woman and drive away after the wreck.

Police ask anyone who knows the motorcyclist or has information about the crash to contact investigators at 978-983-8698.
