Woman hospitalized after motorcycle collision
TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo Police Department responded to a collision at the intersection of Woodville Road and Oak Street in east Toledo around 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 14. According to police, a 28-year-old man from Bryan, Ohio and his passenger, a 32-year-old woman from Bryan, Ohio were traveling by motorcycle on Oak Street when the driver attempted to turn left onto Woodville Road.

One man was killed and a young girl critically injured in a shooting in North Toledo Thursday morning. Around 4:17 a.m. police responded to a report of a person shot at a home in the 300 block of East Lake Street. They found Joshua Davis, 44, with at least one gunshot wound. An 11-year-old girl in the home had also been hit. Both victims were transported to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical center, where Davis died and the girl was being treated for critical injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call or text the Crime Stopper program at 419-255-1111. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward.
