Early results in for WA's 6th District congressional race. Here's who is leading

Early results show that voters are favoring incumbent Emily Randall to represent Washington’s 6th Congressional District for the next two years. Randall, a Democrat, is leading Republican challenger Teresa Fox by 29.8%, with 130,589 (64.81%) votes to Fox’s 70,685 (35.01%) votes. Voters first elected Randall in 2024 as a successor to long-time legislator Derek Kilmer. The district stretches across the Olympic and Kitsap peninsulas, as well as parts of Tacoma, Milton and Fife. On Tuesday night, voters in the district played a role in deciding not only who represents them but which party controls the U.S. House of Representatives. Midterms come during a time when the Trump Administration is re-evaluating its domestic spending limits and slashing funding for community projects, causing local dollars to be stretched thinner than ever across Washington state. Like all congressional districts, a major issue is how to target federal funding and spend limited money — with millions of dollars in maritime upgrades, housing projects and rural road improvements hanging in the balance. Weidner Apartment Homes Acquires Kirkland Retail Site

An entity affiliated with Weidner Apartment Homes has acquired a retail property in Kirkland that was rezoned last year for dense mixed-use development. The Kirkland-based multifamily investor, headquartered next door, bought the 1.26-acre site at 9755 Juanita Drive NE for $8.5 million in a sale that King County recorded last week, reported the Puget Sound Business Journal. Dylan Simon, Jerrid Anderson and JD Fuller of Kidder Mathews represented the seller. The team of brokers received six competitive offers for the site. They also sourced the buyer.

Preylock to Buy Amazon-Leased West Main Tower in Downtown Bellevue for $340 Million

Los Angeles-based Preylock Real Estate Holdings has a contract to buy Tower 1 at West Main from Vulcan Real Estate for $340 million. The 17-story office building in Downtown Bellevue is fully leased to Amazon. The sale has not closed yet and is expected to close before the end of the fourth quarter of 2026.
