OPINION: What's happening with a new Dundee rec area?
In the May 2 issue of the Newberg Graphic, I read with great interest information regarding the Renne Field transformation. This sounds like an outstanding project. I would like to know about Chehalem Park and Recreation’s plans and timeline on the piece of land located on Southwest Fifth Street in Dundee (Sanders Estate). As of today, the land appears barren. It was the understanding presented to the public in an article in a past issue of the Graphic showing plans, that this land was being drawn up to be developed into a beautiful recreational area for our town of Dundee. So, Don Clements, what’s going on? Where’s our recreational area on Fifth Street in Dundee?

OPINION: King supported schools; support him for commissioner
There’s an ardent Newberg school supporter on the May 21 ballot for Yamhill County Commissioner. David “Bubba” King and wife Sarah are proud parents of two Ewing Young students.
