Swanton man arrested, accused of trafficking cocaine, oxycodone, other drugs
SWANTON, Ohio — A Swanton man was arrested Tuesday on allegations of drug trafficking, according to law enforcement. In a press release issued Wednesday, the Multi-Area Narcotics Task Force said they conducted a several months-long investigation alongside crews from the Napoleon Police Department and the Henry County Sheriff's Office. The investigation resulted in the arrest of 40-year-old Andrew Moll, whom police charged with trafficking in drugs.

Man says thanks to Maumee emergency responders following heart attack
A Maumee man, with an entourage of family members, thanked the emergency responders who helped save his life after he suffered a heart attack this year. Rodney May, 66, visited the Maumee 1st Fire Station on Thursday with several dozen donuts, a small token of appreciation. First on the scene was Mr. May’s wife, Mary, who noticed Mr. May was having some discomfort in the early morning hours of March 20, but he shrugged it off to heartburn from the cheeseburgers he ate earlier in the evening. “I’m never making him another one [cheeseburger],” she said.
18-year-old WLS board member convicted of drunk driving facing new charges
TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A Washington Local School Board member busted for drunk driving in February is facing more legal issues. 18-year-old Brady Hall, who turns 19 later this week, was convicted of driving under the influence in Bowling Green earlier this year. As part of the punishment, his license was suspended but a judge granted him driving privileges for work and school board meetings.

Food Truck Thursdays return to Wooster Green
BOWLING GREEN — The city’s Food Truck Thursdays at Wooster Green will begin June 6. The 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. event will continue every Thursday until July 25. Each week, food trucks will be parked to the east of Wooster Green in downtown in the 100 block of West Wooster Street. This series coincides with the Wood County District Public Library’s summer reading program, which is from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Wooster Green.
