Community comes together to renovate local park
JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Friday morning members of the Van Lear community came together at the historic Rucker Park to begin the reconstruction and renovation of the park. The Van Lear Historical Society led the charge for this project, which started one year ago starting with the application of grants to help fund the renovations. Once the grants were approved, the community decided that it was time to start the build.
