    West Virginia man sentenced after selling fentanyl from motel

    MARTINSBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man has been sentenced for selling fentanyl from a West Virginia motel.

    According to U.S. Attorney William Ihlenfeld, Derrick Dwayne Myers, age 46, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, was sentenced today to 150 months in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.

    According to court documents and statements made in court, Myers was selling controlled substances from a motel in Martinsburg. Investigators searched several rooms at the motel and Myers’s vehicle.

    During the searches they located and seized fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, eutylone, and cash, according to Ihlenfeld.

    Myers will serve three years of supervised release following his prison sentence.
