Tool shed fire under investigation in Marquette
MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish a fire near downtown Marquette Wednesday night. The Marquette City Fire Department was dispatched to 436 West Bluff Street for the report of a garage fire. Arriving firefighters reported heavy smoke and flames were visible from the backyard of the home.

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A tool shed is damaged after an evening fire in Marquette. The Marquette City Fire Department responded to 436 W. Bluff St at 8:25 p.m. Upon arrival, visible flames and smoke were coming from the backyard of the residence. Fire Chief Kurt Hillier says a 6×12 foot shed was fully engulfed. They were able to knock down the fire and extinguish the flames within ten minutes.
