$1,000 in lottery tickets stolen in Manhattan

MANHATTAN ( KSNT ) – The Riley County Police Department (RCPD) responded to reports of a theft from a local gas station on Saturday involving a large amount of lottery tickets.

At 5:45 p.m. on April 20, a Manhattan gas station in the 500 block of Richards Drive was reported to be the victim of a theft after an unknown masked man entered the business and allegedly stole $1,100 in lottery tickets, according to the RCPD.

A Riley County Police spokeswoman said there were two case numbers associated with the theft because the suspect had attempted the same thing at another Shop Quik.
