Touch a Truck closes section of Mandan Main Street

MANDAN, ND ( KXNET ) — Main Street from Collins Ave to just past Fourth Ave NW in Mandan will be closed on May 18.

According to a news release, Touch a Truck is taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

To accommodate the event, portions of the avenues from the alley to Main Street will also be closed, as will parking lots on the south side of Main Street from west of Bravera Bank to Dykshoorn Park.

The streets will close at 1 a.m. and reopen at 4 p.m. for the setup, event, and tear down.

People are encouraged to use First Street from Collins to Sixth Ave NW as the detour, and truck drivers will want to take a different route altogether.
