A woman from Manchester, New Hampshire, has been arrested for driving her SUV over 100 mph with her unbuckled children as passengers, resulting in multiple charges.

Around 9:15 p.m. on Friday night, a New Hampshire State Trooper says he witnessed 23-year-old Shirley Stanley driving a Chevrolet Tahoe at a high speed, reaching up to 112 mph, and recklessly driving through traffic on Route 101. Upon pulling over the SUV, the trooper discovered two children, aged 1 and 4, inside the vehicle who were not in a seat belt and not secured with any form of child safety restraint.

Stanley faces several charges including reckless operation, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of failing to comply with required child passenger restraints, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, unsafe lane change, following too closely, and speeding. She was released on bail and is set to appear in Candia District Court on June 10.

Reckless driving seems to be making major headlines lately. As we previously reported, the Minnesota Vikings rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison was cited for speeding and reckless driving.

The 21-year-old wide receiver was accused of traveling 140 mph in a 55-mph zone while driving a Lamborghini Urus sport utility vehicle, according to a statement by the Minnesota State Patrol. The incident occurred on eastbound Interstate 94 near Dale Street in St. Paul, according to the MSP.

Addison, whose place of residence is listed as Frederick, Md., played college football at Pittsburgh and Southern California. He won the 2021 Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s top receiver at Pitt before transferring to USC for his junior season.

“We are aware of last night’s traffic incident involving Jordan Addison and are gathering additional information,” the Vikings said in a statement via ESPN.

Addison signed his rookie deal in May, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero , a four-year deal worth $13.73 million and a fifth-year option.
