Farmerville woman asks for help taking care of 30+ homeless cats
FARMERVILLE, La. (KNOE) - A Union Parish woman has been taking care of over 30 stray cats and is asking for the public’s help, according to the Humane Society of Louisiana. 73-year-old Patsy Hull said that she can no longer afford to take care of the cats on her own. She hopes to get them spayed and neutered to help prevent overpopulation.

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The Monroe Police Department is asking for the public’s help in the investigation of a deadly shooting that happened on Sunday, Dec. 3. MPD said they responded to a shooting in the 3000 block of Owl Street in Monroe just before 2 a.m. A 29-year-old woman was found shot at the scene, according to officers.
