Kentwood man killed in crash in Tangipahoa Parish, state police say

A ridge of high pressure over the northern Gulf will keep our temperatures high and rain chances low through the weekend. At the surface, our winds will be southeasterly for the next few days which will bring the warmth and moisture from the Gulf of Mexico into SELA, which means higher dew points and increasing cloud cover through Sunday. The winds will be getting stronger through the weekend, expect wind gusts of 25 to 35mph especially Friday through Sunday. For the first week of Jazz Fest and the Zurich Classic, expect partly to mostly cloudy, warm, humid and windy conditions with rain chances at 20% or less.
