A Brookhaven murder suspect is in custody after running from police in McComb for almost three hours. Police say Rashan Smith of Brookhaven, ran from a traffic stop Tuesday night, leading to a police pursuit. Smith wrecked the vehicle at U.S. Highway 570 and Robert Ayres Road near Southwest Mississippi Community College and fled on foot into woods nearby, a Brookhaven detective told WLBT.
