When my sister was in first grade, she went to a "Mother's Day Market" at her elementary school. One of those giant, yard-sale reminiscent gymnasium bazaars, the event required each kid to bring a dollar in exchange for which they'd be allowed to pick one item from the local upper class's second-hand trash-to-treasures. She handed in her single bill, and found (she told me later) what she was looking for immediately.
Update: The severe thunderstorm warning is expected to expire at 9 p.m.
The warning was for Hunterdon, Morris, Somerset and Warren counties. "The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However small hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms," says the National Weather Service.
