    MADISON, NJ -  The Madison Board of Education met on Tuesday, April 30 for the 2024-25 Public Hearing of the Budget Presentation. Tonight's presentation aims to share the balanced final budget for 2024-25 school year, to highlight program improvements and enhancements, explain revenue and expenditure changes and the tax impact the estimated budget will have.

    Danielle Shanley outlined the priorities for next year while stating that enrollment for next school year is "slightly down".

    The priorities outlined include:

    • Security, health and safety of students and staff
    • QSAC preparation
    • Special education COmpliance
    • Access and Equity for All
    • Entinued Education on HIB
    • Continued attention to mental health services and wellness initiatives
    • Revised MJS schedule
    • Professional learning opportunities for faculty and staff
    • Review of the PreK-12 program
    • Curriculum Review
