IRVINE, Calif. - One woman was killed, and two other people were injured after the car they were riding in was broadsided in Irvine Saturday evening. The crash happened just before 6 p.m. according to the Irvine Police Department, near the intersection of Irvine Boulevard and Sand Canyon Avenue. Police and fire officials received reports of the crash around 5:50 p.m. When officials got there, they found a white BMW had been broadsided by a gold Lexus.

Tustin 'Mr. Security' mail thief is arrested
Tustin Police busted a man they called "Mr. Security" of mail theft from multiple residences Wednesday morning. Around 5 a.m., a man wearing a black jacket with "SECURITY" in bold white on the back, was seen riding an electric scooter through the Tustin Ranch Estates community. Tustin Police said when they arrived, the man attempted to flee but crashed his scooter on a dirt patch. The suspect was already on probation and had mail from eight different residences with him. Police also found tear gas and a stun gun on him.Police arrested the suspect for prowling, mail theft, identity theft with a prior conviction, theft, resisting a peace officer, two weapons violations, and a violation of his probation terms.His identity has not been released yet.
Man charged with raping a woman in Orange County
SANTA ANA – A 29-year-old Costa Mesa man was charged Friday with raping a woman and assaulting her with a feeding tube in Newport Beach. Jack Douglas Kanen was charged with two counts of rape, two counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object and force, a count of forcible oral copulation, a count of assault with the intent to commit a sex offense, a count of assault with a deadly weapon and a count of assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury, all felonies.

Arizona man arrested for the murder of a man at the Anaheim Gardenwalk
Anaheim homicide detectives have arrested 21-year-old Aristeo Martinez for the shooting murder of 32-year-old Deonte Lenin. On May 21, 2023, just after 2 a.m., Anaheim police officers were dispatched to the Gardenwalk’s parking structure, located on the 300 block of W. Katella Ave., after a large fight and shooting were reported. Officers located Deonte Marquis Lenin of Highland suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Lenin was pronounced dead at the scene.

A suspect has been arrested in the May 21 fatal shooting of a man in Anaheim. According to the Anaheim Police Department, Aristeo Martinez, 21, of Phoenix, Arizona was arrested Friday for the killing of Deonte Marquis Lenin, 32, of Highland in an incident near the Gardenwalk center on Katella Avenue.
