A Santa Ana man allegedly ran a red light causing a fatal collision in Tustin
A 25-year-old man from Santa Ana killed a 67-year-old Irvine woman in a traffic collision on Sunday that involved five cars. The man was apparently speeding in a vehicle that ran a red light, at the time of the collision, which happened at Barranca Parkway and Tustin Ranch Road at around 5:15 p.m.

Pushing Back Or Away, Orange County Bans "PRIDE FLAG" on County Property in a 3-2 Vote Tuesday
The Orange County Board of Supervisors Tuesday narrowly approved a new policy to fly only the federal, state, and county flags on county property. The move came after a failed effort from Supervisors Katrina Foley and Vince Sarmiento to back a proclamation in support of Pride Month to honor the LGBTQ community. The rise comes after people have made it clear that the pride Flag is not above The American Flag.
O.C. high school threat suspect arrested
Laguna Hills, Ca. (June 5, 2023): In December 2022, a series of threats began towards Laguna Hills High School, staff, and students after a championship football game. These threats spanned through June 2023, and included three false reports of a possible shooter approaching the school’s campus, a bomb threat, a death threat via telephone, and at least 10 known death threats via written letter utilizing the United States Postal Service. Two of these threats targeted Laguna Hills High School’s Senior Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, June 1.

Good Samaritans save girl from drowning in Irvine pool
IRVINE, Calif. - Bystanders in Irvine are being hailed as heroes after saving a young girl from drowning. It happened Sunday at the Royal Oak community pool. Firefighters said the Good Samaritans noticed the girl at the bottom of the pool and rushed in to save her. They were able to pull her out of the water and administer CPR.
