8 Teens Hospitalized After Ingesting Marijuana Edibles During School Field Trip
Eight teens were hospitalized after taking marijuana edibles during a school field trip on Tuesday. According to authorities, the teens became “acutely ill” after ingesting edibles during a trip to the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles. An on-site security officer found the students and called 911. An ambulance then transported the eight teens to nearby hospitals for further evaluation.
Ceremony marks opening of new Wilshire Division police station
The Los Angeles Police Department’s new $1.7 million Wilshire Division police station at 4861 Venice Blvd. was dedicated in this photograph in the May 9, 1974, issue of the Park Labrea News. Capt. It marked the second move for the police station, which was established in 1922 on Wilshire Boulevard in the Koreatown area, and was later located at 4526 W.
