Overnight earthquake shakes Long Beach area
Light shaking was reported overnight when an earthquake rattled Long Beach and Los Angeles' South Bay area. The magnitude-2.5 quake at about 3:30 a.m. was centered in Carson with a depth of about 7 miles. Shaking was reported in Long Beach, Torrance, Compton and other southern Los Angeles County communities.
Family hit by car while walking on sidewalk in South LA
LOS ANGELES – A man, his wife and their 19-year-old son were hit by a car Wednesday while they were on a sidewalk on La Cienega Boulevard, just north of Pico Boulevard. The 48-year-old woman and 51-year-old man were seriously injured while their son was in fair condition, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department. All three were taken to a hospital.

Missing Lake County Man Found Dead in LA County
A Lake county man missing for nearly a month has been found dead in Los Angeles County. Thirty-nine year old Jack Inong was last seen on May 15th at his home in south Lakeport but not reported missing until May 30th. He was found dead in a hotel room this past weekend but might have died much earlier. It unclear how Inong died or why he was in LA.
