A person is dead after a fire occurred at a home in Louisville's Parkland neighborhood Thursday, the Louisville Division of Fire said in a statement. Department spokesperson Capt. Tamara Stewart said crews responded to a call about a house fire and possible rescue in the 700 block of South 33rd Street at around 4:19 a.m. and found heavy fire coming from the front and sides of the 1.5-story building.
