Lubbock bank breaks ground on new loan center

LUBBOCK, Texas — Western Bank Mortgage Center hosted an event on Thursday in celebration of its new 17,000-square-foot mortgage loan production center.

Located at 117th Street and Slide Road, the groundbreaking ceremony served complimentary beverages and refreshments from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., said a press release.

President and Chief Executive Officer, Dan Odom expressed, “We continue to be blessed with the growth of our Lubbock community.” He added the team “sees this as an opportunity to help propel the growth of Lubbock.”

Additionally, Western Bank’s mortgage president Allyn Piland is “no stranger to the success of local mortgage companies,” said the release.

“Allyn and her team will provide excellent service… our customers have enjoyed over the past 115 years,” Odom expressed.

Western Bank headquartered in Lubbock has branches throughout the Panhandle, South Plains Permian Basin and Big Country.
