While the talk around the NBA seems to be more focused on the future of LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers, LA’s other team, the Clippers are in crisis, as well. The question that many are wondering if the team should keep Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and James Harden.

Clippers general manager Lawrence Frank says he wants to try to keep all three.

“We’d like to be able to bring back and retain Paul and James,” Frank said Monday, via ESPN . “We’re hopeful we can, but also understand and respect the fact that they’re free agents. Paul has a decision with his option. James will be an unrestricted free agent, so our intent is to bring him back, but also realize that they’re elite players and they’ll have choices.”

Not everyone is on board with Frank’s idea, though. One detractor is ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, who thinks the team needs to be blown up

“Hell no,” Smith said Tuesday on First Take . “Clean house. The Los Angeles Clippers are a mess.”

“This is not the way for the franchise to go,” he continued. “If it were me, I can’t do it, I just can’t do it.”

Stephen A. Thinks the franchise is spending too much time and their money on Leonard who has only played in four playoff games for the Clippers and Harden who has not stepped up for the team as expected.

He thinks they should build the team around Paul George which may not be a bad idea, problem is he is 34 and will expect a huge playoff, one their LA rival may be more willing to pay.
