    Former Lakers Guard, Four-Year NBA Veteran Dies at 33

    The NBA world received sad news this weekend. Darius Morris, a four-year NBA veteran, has died at 33 years old.

    Morris, the former Michigan Wolverine, was taken by the Lakers in the second round of the 2011 NBA Draft. He spent two seasons with the Lakers, playing alongside NBA legends like the late Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash.

    Morris would go on to spend time with the 76ers, Clippers, Grizzlies and Nets. He played in the NBA from 2011-15.

    NBA insider Shams Charania announced on Saturday that Morris has died at 33. A cause of death is currently unknown.
