Metta World Peace's Six-Word Message for Darvin Ham Following Lakers Exit

The Los Angeles Lakers' season came to an ugly end after losing in five games to the Denver Nuggets in the opening round of the Western Conference Playoffs.

Not long after, the Lakers decided to part ways with second-year head coach Darvin Ham. To those who watched and covered the Lakers over the last two years, it's not as surprise in the slightest.

The Lakers were a mess with Ham at the helm. And while Rob Pelinka's roster decision deserves more attention, it was clear Ham wasn't the right fit in Los Angeles.

Despite Ham's struggles, Lakers legend Metta World Peace is proud of what he accomplished over his two seasons with the franchise.

"Proud of what Darvin Hamm accomplished..." Peace said on X .

This isn't the last time Darvin Ham will get a chance to be a head coach in the NBA. He'll get another opportunity at some point.

The Lakers, meanwhile, are now once again faced with the daunting task of finding a quality head coach. Tyronn Lue and JJ Redick are a few of the names Los Angeles is reportedly interested in trying to hire.
