Lakers Star Has Four-Word Message On Potential NBA History Vs. Nuggets

The Los Angeles Lakers have a chance to make NBA history in their first-round series against the Denver Nuggets. Los Angeles could be the first team in league history to come back from a 3-0 deficit.

L.A. is headed to Denver for Game 5 on Monday. They could extend the series and put some real pressure on the Nuggets, but the defending champions have been nearly unbeatable at home.

Lakers star Austin Reaves spoke on potentially making history with a core that's been through many ups and downs. He knows the Lakers have dealt with obstacles, but truly believes L.A. is ready to turn it around.

“We get another opportunity to go play one more game, and if we win, come back and play another one and keep moving from there," said Reaves, via Lakers Nation on X.

“Obviously wish we won 4-0. Odds aren’t stacked in our favor, but anytime we can keep ourselves floating above water, we have an opportunity to go do something special. We’re ready for the challenge.”

The Lakers are going against every challenge in the history books. Reaves and company truly need to hone in and embrace the message of "ready for the challenge."

When a team leads 3-0 in a season series, they're 149-0. Los Angeles has experience, and some of the best players in the world in LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but every star needs to align in order for them to pull off this feat.
