Storm knocks out power to 5,000 deep East Texas residents
CENTER, Texas (KTAL/KSHV) – Five thousand customers lost power as a powerful storm moved through deep East Texas Sunday night. The storm broke several poles, knocking out power to large parts of Panola, Shelby, and Nacogdoches Counties. The Deep East Texas Electric Cooperative said the outages affected an area stretching from Carthage down to the Toledo Bend area and west of Nacogdoches.

MARSHALL, Texas (KLTV) - The ETBU Tigers are headed to the regional final following a 12-0 win over Texas Lutheran on Friday. ETBU and TLU were tied at 0 entering the third inning.
