Motorcyclist killed on Rte. 15 in Pa. was headed to Memorial Day event in D.C.
SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT — A motorcyclist from New York was killed Friday when his vehicle left Route 15 in Lycoming County and struck the guiderail. David M. Nangle, 74, of Painted Post, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 10:50 a.m. accident on southbound Route 15 at the top of Bald Eagle Mountain in Clinton Twp., south of Williamsport.

MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. (AP) — A Pennsylvania man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison in the shooting death of a teenager at a New Jersey gas station almost three years ago. Prosecutors in Burlington County say Tamir Phillips, 24, of Bensalem, will not be eligible for parole. He was sentenced Friday.
