Spider-Man swings into NYC with new merch ahead of 'Brand New Day'

Take a Localish-exclusive first look at the newest Spider-Man merchandise, from brand new action figures to the comfiest of woven crewnecks, right in the heart in New York City.

"We're in Queens, New York, the hometown of Peter Parker, better known as the hero Spider-Man," says Cole Horton, Director of Brand Commercialization at Marvel Consumer Products. "There really is no better place in the world to celebrate Spider-Man than New York City."

With an array of products on display, there's something for everyone, including even the most casual of fans.

"Everyone loves Spider-Man. Whether you're old or young, a nostalgic fan, a new fan. We definitely have something for you," Horton says. "Whether that's action figures, costumes, the latest fashion accessories, we've got it all."

Speaking on the newest installment in the Spider-Man franchise, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day", Horton wants these new products to get fans excited for the summer blockbuster.

"I just hope they're as excited as we are about the upcoming film," Horton says. "There's so many ways to celebrate. We just hope they celebrate with us!"
