Local Experts Extend the ‘Pantry Challenge’
Two local women hosted a set of meetings to encourage Moapa Valley residents to prepare to take on a “pantry challenge.”. Memorial Day Celebrated at Pioneer Cemetery

High School Golfers Compete at State
Four boys from local high schools competed at the 3A State Boys Golf Championship played at the Toiyabe Golf Club near Reno last week. VVHS freshman Viktor Cu and sophomore Issac Johnson competed in the tournament for the Bulldogs. MVHS juniors Braden Leavitt and Cash Keller represented the Pirate team at State. All four qualified for the tournament as individual players. Neither school qualified this year to compete at state as a team.

Retiring Farmer’s Agent Welcomes New Agent
The Farmers Alsum Insurance Agency in Overton is going through a major change this month as owner and agent Karen Alsum prepares to retire.
