A teacher accidentally crashed her car into a school building for adults with autism in Little Ferry while class was in session on Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

The crash happened on Chamberlain Avenue. The teacher who was driving the car works at the school.

Authorities say the brakes didn't work when the teacher went to park her 2017 Honda Civic. The car then crashed into a classroom while students were inside.

None of the students in the classroom were near the window at the time of the crash, police say. No injuries were reported.
