Charges amended against Borntreger

Felony charges against Abraham K. Borntreger, 33, Little Falls, were amended in Morrison County District Court to include possessing child pornography of a minor under the age of 14 as a registered predatory offender. This charge was added to one felony count of fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance filed in April. One felony charge of possessing child pornography was dismissed.

If convicted on the new child porn possession felony charge, Borntreger faces up to 10 years imprisonment and/or a $10,000 fine. If convicted on the drug possession felony charge, he faces up to five years imprisonment and/or a $10,000 fine.
