Montgomery County Golf Course Selected as Qualifying Site for U.S. Open
The local qualifying event in Montgomery County for the U.S. Open will be held on May 6 at Union League Liberty Hill in Lafayette Hill. The United States Golf Association has chosen three Pennsylvania golf courses as local qualifying sites for the 124th U.S. Open Championships and one of them is in Montgomery County, writes Amber Charnoff for abc27 News.

The private Catholic institution is shutting down permanently after 67 years of operation.In June 2023, the university announced its closure amid declining enrollment and financial troubles.
