High school football: Bath shows resilience
BATH TOWNSHIP — The cheer coming from the Bath football locker room Friday night was loud and clear:. Elida certainly knew it, after seeing Bath rally back for a 21-17 win that knocked the Bulldogs from the ranks of the unbeaten. The community saw it too, filling the stands as the Wildcats celebrated parents night and bringing an electricity not seen often at the school.
Lady Jays shut out Thunderbirds on the pitch
DELPHOS — The Delphos St. John’s girls soccer squad shut out Lima Central Catholic 7-0 on a still Tuesday afternoon and evening on the turf of Champions Field. Both teams had health and injury woes entering the match, with the Lady Thunderbirds down to no substitutions by the end.

Unbeaten Titans Triumph in Western Buckeye League; Elida and Bokins Also Secure Hard-fought Victories
Western Buckeye League high school soccer games took place on Tuesday evening. One particular standout was the O-G Lady Titans who defeated the Bath Wildcats, making their season record an unbeatable 10-0. An exceptional player scored twice, solidifying their win. The Elida team also managed to hold their ground, winning a hard-fought 4-3 match against Salina, which improved their league standing.
Kenton Varsity Volleyball beats Lima Senior 3 – 0
Kenton had a clean sweep against Lima Senior, all Freshman, JV and Varsity squads. JV won won in 2 sets, 25-22, 25-21. Varsity won in straight 3 sets, 25-18, 25-11, 25-16. Bluffton and Columbus Grove Triumph in High School Volleyball; Crestview's Coach Gregory Hits 300th Career Victory
This week's girls' high school volleyball games saw victories from both the Bluffton Lady Pirates and the Columbus Grove Police. Maintaining their winning streak, Bluffton defeated Jefferson in a three-set game, largely thanks to contributions from newer team members. The Columbus Grove squad also triumphed over Ada, with outstanding performances from their younger players resulting in a 25-23 set win.
Bulldogs and Spartans Score Victories in Recent Western Buckeye League Games
