Chick-fil-A bringing back classic menu item alongside new sandwich for summer

Everything is going to be just peachy this summer now that Chick-fil-A , the Atlanta-based chicken chain, is bringing back a fan favorite and introducing a new sandwich to its summer menu . The peach milkshake, first introduced in 2009, will make its return on Monday, June 10, alongside the new maple pepper bacon sandwich.

The peach shake, made with Chick-fil-A's vanilla icedream and peaches, is topped with a cherry and whipped cream, according to the restaurant's website. It took more than a dozen attempts to perfect the flavor combination.

The new maple pepper bacon sandwich was initially tested in Indianapolis and Lexington, Kentucky, last year and will soon be available nationwide. The sandwich features a grilled chicken breast marinated in lemon and herbs, topped with pepper jack cheese, lettuce, brown sugar-peppered bacon, and sweet and spicy pickles, served on a maple-flavored brioche bun.

Both the peach shake and the maple pepper bacon sandwich will be available for a limited time, although Chick-fil-A has not disclosed how long they will be on the menu or their prices.
