GREENBRIER COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – The Greenbrier Valley Garden Clubs are hosting their 39th House and Garden Tour on June 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tickets ($25) are available from any garden club member, the General Lewis, Gillespie’s Flowers and at the door of each home on tour day.

Included are seven homes that are located in Lewisburg, Second Creek and White Sulphur Springs.

Visit the English country manor home on Stone Creek Lane in White Sulphur Springs. Legend has it that in the late 1920s or early 1930s, Al Capone, the Chicago mobster owned the home.

Mirapaso, the beautiful Mediterranean-style home, located in Lewisburg, was built between 1926 to 1929 and includes one of the first swimming pools in our area.  The never-before-shown guest house will be open for viewing this year.

The Venable-Mathew-Moore Home, built in 1850, on Washington St., Lewisburg, was first on tour in 2022, shortly after renovation began. See the ongoing transformation of this spacious, elegant home.

It is sponsored by West Virginia Garden Club Inc. and Greenbrier Valley Garden Clubs for civic, beautification projects.
