An 11-year-old fifth-grader has raised $7,300 to pay off his entire elementary school’s lunch debt, and now has his very own award named after him.Daken Kramer raised twice the amount of money needed for the lunch debt at Thomas Ultican Elementary School in Blue Springs, Missouri through an online fundraiser. KCPD cites dozens overnight in effort to combat illegal street racing
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Officers stopped dozens of motorcycles and ATVs illegally street racing late Friday night and early Saturday morning. The Kansas City Police Department towed nine vehicles, made several arrests and cited dozens for street racing, spectating and hazardous moving violations. Efforts were focused around entertainment districts downtown, the department stated.
