It’s omnibus season at the Minnesota Legislature, with the focus of a legislative session just one month from completion shifting from committee work to the conference committees set to negotiate the final details on several significant omnibus packages driven by DFL majorities. Le Center citywide garage sale expands with vendor market
This year’s citywide garage sale in Le Center had more treasures in store than ever before, as a new Market in the Park was added to the semi-annual event. Over the weekend Thursday through Saturday, shoppers browsing through the 32 garage sales happening around town could stop by Plut Park near the swimming pool to continue their shopping spree. Tuesday night, the Le Sueur-Henderson track and field team traveled to Belle Plaine to compete in a four school meet hosted by the Tigers. Monday evening, the Tri-City United track and field team traveled to St. Peter to compete in an invitational featuring Belle Plaine, Marshall, Minnesota Valley Lutheran, M/T/GHEC/ML, GFW and the host Saints. As a team, the Titan girls earned fourth with 111.25 points while the boys finished sixth with a score of 38.
