    River Grove Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

    Joint LO School Board-City Council Meeting

    The Lake Oswego School Board and the City of Lake Oswego City Council are having their semi-annual joint meeting on Tuesday, May 7, at 5:30 p.m. The public is welcome to observe the session in the City Hall Council Chambers at 380 A Avenue, Lake Oswego. The meeting agenda is posted on the district website under School Board meetings.

    ‘SpongeBob Squarepants The Musical: Youth Edition’

    “SpongeBob Squarepants The Musical: Youth Edition” is the spring musical at Lakeridge Middle School. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on May 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18, plus an additional matinee performance on Saturday, May 11.

    Donate your old musical instruments

    Superintendent’s budget message

    ‘Sense

    and Sensibility’

    Wilsonville High School Theater presents “Sense and Sensibility” adapted from Jane Austen’s novel by playwright Kate Hamill.

    Opening night of the play is Thursday, May 9 at 7 p.m. Performances will continue Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11. Shows resume the following week Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 16, 17 at 7 p.m. and May 18 at 2 p.m. for a total of six performances. The final show will be a matinee. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students.

    Community forum for fentanyl awarenessThe entire community is invited to a community forum on May 14, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the West Linn High School Performing Arts Center. This community forum will focus on the dangers of fentanyl and how you can support your student.

    Changing the SySTEM Camp

    West Linn High School’s robotics team is hosting a free all-girls STEM camp from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on May 15,17, 20 and 22 for middle schoolers. Register at wlhsfrc.com or email wlhsfrc@gmail.com.

    Volunteer for CREST

    WLWV Performing Arts Center seat program

    The West Linn Heritage Seat and Wilsonville Legacy Seat programs in association with WLWV Music and Arts Partners (MAP) were created to raise money for the performing arts centers. These funds are used to keep the facility in a state-of-the-art condition by paying for specialty items such as lighting, sound equipment and furnishings.
