While one state road resurfacing project should wrap up this week in north Iowa, another road resurfacing just got started. Pete Hjelmstad with the Iowa DOT’s Mason City District office says the final asphalt work was completed Monday (08.10) on the Iowa 24/East Main Street resurfacing in New Hampton. Crews have some work to do around the manholes as well as grooving in the paint markings, all targeted for completion by the end of the week, weather permitting.
