Palmdale detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are asking for the public’s help locating an at-risk missing juvenile, Brianna Covert. She is a 17-year-old girl who was last seen in the vicinity of Buckhaven Road in Agua Dulce on Wednesday at approximately 8 p.m.

Monrovia school board makes personnel changes
MONROVIA — The Monrovia school board made several decisions regarding personnel at its meeting Monday night. Last month, the board unanimously approved Monroe-Gregg Superintendent Kirk Freeman’s recommendation to appoint Moriah Crane as the district’s treasurer and director of finance. The board officially appointed her to the position at Monday’s meeting. Crane attended the meeting and was given a warm welcome by the board.

Claremont Police Department officers were called to the 700 block of Baylor Avenue at 9:11 p.m. regarding a person causing a disturbance. Police spoke with the reporting party and ran a records check of 48-year-old Joshua McClellan of Claremont, which revealed two misdemeanor warrants, one from Los Angeles County and the other from Claremont PD. McClellan was arrested on the warrants and taken to CPD, where he was booked and released with two citations.
