Cooper Petaja, a senior at Oldham County High School, is the Courier Journal Student of the Week.

Cooper is a very well-rounded individual who has been involved in a wide range of interests at Oldham County High School. He has completed coursework in both the cinematography and video production pathway and the wood product manufacturing pathway. He is a worship leader of our school's Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) chapter, and he is a weekly member of the praise band at his church.
