Oldham County owner ready to fulfill his Derby dreams
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Brook T. Smith grew up in Oldham County and said he got hooked on horse racing in the mid-1990s. Until then, he really didn't follow horse racing, so Smith said it wasn't like he was sitting around thinking that he was ever going to be running a horse in the Kentucky Derby.
